The Burnaby Business Excellence Awards (BBEA) is set to host a special meal next month to announce the names of its finalists and Hall of Fame inductees.
Business leaders who have made a significant contribution to the city of Burnaby are honored yearly with the awards and the luncheon will give those involved a chance to celebrate the unveilings.
All of the nominees were submitted by members of the public, local businesses or by the individuals themselves. There are nine different categories in which the awards will be presented, including Business Innovation, Burnaby Community Spirit, Environmental Sustainability, Entrepreneurial Spirit, Family Organization of the Year, and Business of the Year. The winners will be announced at the BBEA gala in November.
Many of the Burnaby company bosses who are planning on attending the luncheon will be placing new business card printing orders with their local Print companies. The event will be an excellent networking opportunity for all entrepreneurs and there will likely be plenty of time during lunch to briefly discuss business and to exchange cards.
The Hall of Fame and Finalist Announcement Luncheon will take place at the Hilton Vancouver Metrotown on October 10 from 11:30am-2:00pm. Tickets are $60 each or $570 for a table of 10 for members, and $80 or $760 for non-members.
