Burnaby is a city with strong business community, and a mixer has been planned that will give its members a chance to meet and connect with one another.
During the After Hours Business Mixer, which has been planned by the Burnaby Board of Trade (BBOT), guests will be treated to some light refreshments while they meet and mingle. Attendees can chat and exchange Business Cards, and the host for the evening will be RBC.
According to the organizers of the function, they expect it to attract dozens of local small business owners, and it will be a casual occasion. There is no charge to attend, and the drinks and other refreshments will be complimentary. It will give those who attend an opportunity to meet a wide selection of other business owners and professionals all under one roof, and organizers noted that one of its goals is to help build a thriving business community.
The scheduled start time for this free mixer is 5:30pm, and it will continue until 7pm. It will be on offer at 5000 Kingsway Plaza, and anyone with questions or who would like to register for the function has been asked to call 604-412-0100.
