University of Lethbridge to host career fair
Describing it as southern Alberta’s biggest hiring event, the University of Lethbridge has announced plans for the return of their Fall Career Fair.
This event features over 150 recruiters representing a variety of businesses, non-profit organizations, and other hirers. The fair is aimed at University of Lethbridge students looking for summer and post-graduation jobs, as well as faculty members and people from the general community. Attendees can receive free gifts as well as professional photography to use with job applications and business card printing. Students are encouraged to bring resumes and ask questions to help network with potential employers.
The fair is also pitched to employers as a way to reach potential employees and partners. Each exhibitor will receive a display area with a booth and chairs, as well as being included in brochure printing for the fair, with premium options also available. The Fall Career Fair has been running for over 34 years, with similar fairs also held at different times during the year.
