The Lethbridge Handmade Market will be commemorating 10 years of being open for business this April, with a special spring edition.
The anniversary celebration will be a two-day event, including the first-ever Friday edition of the market, and it will feature many of the businesses and activities that have made it a success over the past decade. There will be over 130 artisans, artists, crafters, small businesses and other vendors from Alberta and beyond in attendance. Live music will aim to create a fun shopping atmosphere.
The market area will also feature family-friendly activities, including a free scavenger hunt for handmade prizes and the KidsCreate Button-Making Station. Shoppers can also register online to be eligible for over $4,000 in door prizes. The spring market will also feature the “Kidpreneurs” program where people under 18 can try their hand at running a booth, with the event offering its lowest booth fees for this program.
The 10th anniversary market will feature the theme of “Spring Sunshine”, with businesses encouraged to offer products or services that complement the emerging spring weather. Businesses at markets like this can make use of business card printing and promotional items to better connect with customers. The market also often features attractions such as food trucks, photo booths, and live art.
The 2026 Spring edition of the Lethbridge Handmade Market will take place at Excite Lethbridge on April 10 and 11.
