The festival will feature a variety of local cultural organizations, including Nikka Yuko Japanese Gardens, the Southern Alberta Chinese Association, the India-Canada Cultural Association, and the Lethbridge Sri Lankan Association. Exhibitors will feature educational activities, games, and other interactive ways to experience other cultures.
There will be a stage for live music and cultural performances such as dance. Visitors can examine art and craft exhibits or enjoy a bite to eat at the Heritage Food Fair, with tastes representing different cuisines. The Festival is hosted with the support of SAEA, who also host events like the Afro-Caribbean Fest, as well as local volunteers. Advertising encourages locals to:

This year’s Heritage Day festival will look to follow up on last year’s 50th anniversary edition, with the festival being a staple of Lethbridge summers. Cultural festivals such as this one often use poster printing and social media to help connect with the community and reach a wide variety of people.
The 2026 edition of the SAEA Heritage Day event will take place on August 3 at Henderson Lake Park. Admission will be free for all.
