Lethbridge event combines screening and concert

Veteran Canadian rock musician Bif Naked will be visiting Lethbridge this March with both a screening of the recent documentary about her and an acoustic performance.

The documentary, simply called Bif Naked, was produced by Super Channel and made its premiere at the Calgary International Film Festival last year. The film is directed by Pollyanna Hardwicke-Brown and covers Bif’s three-decade career, ranging from personal and professional struggles to hits like “Spaceman” and “Moment of Weakness”.

Bif Naked herself (the stage name of Beth Torbert) will also be performing a stripped-down, acoustic version of some of her major hits. Bif will also be promoting her 2025 album Champion, and its debut single “Snowblinded”. The artist said upon the documentary’s debut:

“After years of holding this story close, it’s both humbling and surreal to finally share my true journey—not just with my incredible fans, but with the world on the grandest stage of all.”

Both concerts and screenings often use poster printing and social media to help attract members of the community. The Lethbridge event is part of a two-week nationwide tour beginning and ending in Ontario with stops in the Western provinces, to be followed by a full band concert tour this summer.

The Bif Naked screening and performance in Lethbridge will take place at the Yates Theatre on the evening of March 1.
