A recent event that was held in Lethbridge allowed job seekers to find new employment horizons.
The Lethbridge Chamber of Commerce hosted ‘Opportunity Knocks’, which was its third annual job fair, and it attracted over 43 employers looking for applicants to fill either current job or upcoming openings.
There were representatives from different firms in the industrial sector, as well as hospitality, food services, and several trades.
Employees who brought their resumes had them scanned for distribution to the employers of their choice, and Teamwork Training was also on hand to help provide tips on resume writing and interview techniques. Interactive displays were set up to let those who came out know more about the opportunities available for trade apprentices. These will provide people with employment that allows them to stay in the Lethbridge area, and give students who attend a chance to learn more about the educational requirements for the different career paths.
