The Lethbridge Chamber of Commerce will be holding its annual Lethbridge Business Awards ceremony this October, including crowning the Business of the Year and awarding 10 other prizes.
The awards are presented through a gala celebration and are designed to highlight small businesses and entrepreneurs. Many awards will focus on honouring businesses who have impacted the community, including the Business Legacy Award, Community Business Leadership Award, Excellence in Customer Service Award and Spirit of Reconciliation Award. There will also be awards for innovative enterprises, such as the Best Creative Marketing Strategy Award, Young Entrepreneur Award and New Business of the Year Award, along with the coveted People’s Choice Award, which is chosen from an online vote. Businesses can be nominated in one or multiple categories.
The gala is designed to showcase sponsors and Chamber members, as well as the nominees, with corporate tables available. Business awards such as these are often hosted by local Chambers of Commerce and can serve as networking events as well as recognition, with Business Cards and contact information often changing hands. The nominees for each award will be announced following an open nomination period. Last year’s winners included Italian Table, Teamwork Training Ltd and MPP Software.
The Lethbridge Business Awards will take place at The Coast Lethbridge Hotel and Conference Centre on the evening of October 20.
