Janes Walks held in Lethbridge
Lethbridge residents recently came together to honor the memory of Jane Jacobs, while enjoying the company of others and seizing the chance to get to know their own city a little bit better.
Jane’s Walk, which was launched several years ago by Jane Jacobs, encourages people to come together and explore the urban spaces in which they live.
In Lethbridge, there were 12 different walking tours taking place, each with a different theme, with something to accommodate every level of ability. This is a significant increase over the seven that were held last year. This year, the local university had chosen to host a Sculpture Walk.
