The long-running Lethbridge Ag Expo will be convening once more this February, featuring hundreds of exhibitors and attendees from the agricultural sector.
The main attraction of the Expo is the showroom floor, where vendors from around the world gather to display the newest farming equipment, livestock supplies, and other industry technology. Exhibitors include Adept Industrial Solutions, Graham Seed Treating Systems, and Southwest Design and Constructions, as well as large displays by major agricultural corporations. There will also be specialized “salons” for seed distributors and agricultural technology, and a specialized Machinery Row area for large farm equipment. Food and drink will be available, including a bar area and coffee stop.
The Ag Expo boasts of being the largest agricultural trade event in western Canada, and is one of the signature events of the Lethbridge & District Exhibition, which dates its history back to agricultural shows and public fairs held in the 19th century. Attendance is free for agricultural students from southern Alberta, 4-H members, and children 11 and under. Industry fairs and conferences such as this can be crucial for networking, with resume and business card printing a crucial part of preparation, and often include educational and social events both official and unofficial.
The 2024 Lethbridge Ag Expo will take place at the Agri-Food Hub & Trade Centre at the Lethbridge & District Exhibition from February 27 to 29.
