Golf tournament to be held in Lethbridge

Lethbridge golfers will soon have the opportunity to get in a full day of the sport they love while helping to raise some money for kids in their community.

This year’s Charlton and Hill/National Salvage Golf for Kids Sake will be held next month at Picture Butte Golf Club. Funds raised will go to Big Brothers/Big Sisters.

On the day of the tournament, the participating golfers will be given the run of the course and will be able to practice their swing as much as they like. Each will be assigned their own golf cart, and a breakfast and lunch – as well as a steak supper – will be provided. Snacks and light refreshments will also be available through the course of the day.

While the tournament does not have an entry fee, participants are instead asked to raise money through collecting pledges.

The event will be using software that allows those taking part to quickly email those on their contact list to ask for their support. There will also be opportunities for corporate and hole sponsorship.

A preregistration event will be held on June12th, with the main event taking place the next day.

Those interested in taking part can visit the Big Brothers/Big Sisters website for further information.

An event like this can make good use of the services of a Print company. They can provide all the promotional materials and other printed items that will be required to help make the day a big success.
