Classic rockers to visit Lethbridge

Legendary Canadian rock group Bachman-Turner Overdrive will be performing in Lethbridge this April, bringing along some other iconic bands.

The group recently reunited in honour of their 50th anniversary, with the lineup consisting of original members Randy Bachman and C. Fred Turner along with Randy’s son Tal Bachman and three backing members who have been with the group since 2009. They will be performing songs from their decades-long legacy, which includes hits like “Takin’ Care of Business” and “You Ain’t Seen Nothin’ Yet”, as well as songs from Bachman’s work with The Guess Who. The group will be supported by veteran Canadian rock groups April Wine and Headpins, who are also best known for hits in the 1970s and 80s.

The Lethbridge concert is part of the Back In Overdrive Tour, which will be traveling extensively across Canada. Concerts like this often use tools like poster printing and radio advertising to help raise awareness in the local community. Promotional material for the Back In Overdrive Tour quotes Bachman as saying:

“I'll be playing all the Guess Who and BTO hits with my band, BTO, and with April Wine and Headpins joining us, it's going to be an unforgettable evening. Crank up the hits! Canadian rock is back, and BTO is back!"

Bachman-Turner Overdrive will be playing in Lethbridge at the Visitlethbridge.com Arena on April 13.
