Fans of the Lethbridge International Airshow recently received some news they have been waiting to hear.
In a conference that was held at Lethbridge Lodge, event organizers announced that the show, which was not held in 2014, will be back this year and along with it the Canadian aeronautical team The Snowbirds.
Spread over two days in July, part of the show is taking place on a Friday evening. This will be the first time in the history of the sir show that it has been held at dusk. It is expected that the afterburners of the F-18 jets that the Snowbirds use will show up very well in the low light, and create quite spectacle for the audience.
According to its vice president, Marc Ouellette, he is pleased that the event is once again being held, and that it brings spin-off benefits to Lethbridge and the surrounding area. An example of this is printing companies that can be called on to produce everything from Posters to T-Shirts.
In 2013, over 25,000 people came out to watch the aeronautics, and it is hoped that with evening portion that has been added for this year, it will do even better.
The Snowbirds is the Canadian Forces professional aerobatic flying team that does shows across the country every year.
The dates of the event are July 24th and 25th.Get a Free Quote for Posters Get a Free Quote for T-Shirts
