The event features over 300 wines from across the world to sample including dessert, port, and sparkling wines, in addition to the classic red and white. The 2023 edition will continue the rosé feature introduced in 2020, which provides over 60 rosé or “pink” wines with a variety of different tastes available. There will also be an assortment of hors d’oeuvres and other food to sample and pair with the drinks. The ticket price includes samples and a take-home wine glass.

Winefest Edmonton will take place just a week after a parallel event in Calgary, and look to bring in wine lovers from surrounding areas such as Leduc. Food and wine events such as this are a popular way to sample a wide variety of new tastes, with organizers using methods like flyer printing and cross-promotion with local businesses to raise awareness among local foodies. An exact list of participating vendors will be released a week before the event.
The 2023 instalment of Winefest Edmonton will take place on February 24 and 25 at Edmonton Convention Centre.
