Leduc residents asked to be generous on Canada Day

This Canada Day, an event will be taking place that will give people an opportunity to take a few minutes to help their neighbors in need.

Coldwell Banker will be hosting its 2016 Canada Day food drive. To make it as easy as possible for the public to contribute, Bags will be delivered to residences prior to July 1st. People are asked to be very generous, fill the bags with non-perishable food items and leave them on their front porch before 8:00 am. Bags will be picked up by a volunteer and delivered to the Leduc and District Food Bank for distribution. A company that provides printing services can both design and Print bags to be used in campaigns such as this, which can help to maximize the amount donated.

If it is more convenient, the bags can also be dropped off at Coldwell Banker Haida Realty offices, located at 5919-50 Street in Leduc or at the food bank itself, which can be found at 4810 49 Ave. Those who prefer to make a monetary donation can do so by visiting the CanadaHelps website and selecting Leduc and District Food Bank.
