The Leduc, Nisku & Devon Chambers of Commerce will be hosting their annual awards this March, as part of a gala masquerade event.
The ceremony will recognize outstanding businesses and individual professionals nominated in categories such as Young Business Leader, Employee of the Year, Legacy Business of the Year, and Arts & Culture Organization of the Year by members of the Chambers. Each of the three municipalities involved will have its own set of awards. A set of anonymous judges with professional experience will select the winners based on scoring criteria such as “overcoming start-up challenges”, “business growth and sustainability” and “involvement in community and industry.”
The awards will be handed out at a formal gala, with cocktails and a silent auction followed by a five-course dinner paired with wine selections. Silent auction items will be donated by local businesses, with funds raised going to support the Chamber’s operations year-round. This year’s event will feature a masquerade theme, with attendees encouraged to wear carnival masks and other costume attire. Award ceremonies like this are also a popular location for business networking, with Business Cards and contact information often changing hands.
The 2025 Leduc, Nisku & Devon Chamber Business Awards will take place on March 1 at the Renaissance Edmonton Airport Hotel. Attendees can book a room at the hotel for a discounted rate.
