The long-running Beaumont Music Festival will be back in southern Alberta this June, featuring a line-up composed exclusively of Canadian musicians.

The festival spans a variety of genres including pop, rock and folk. The first night will be headlined by veteran Canadian performers Headstones, with supporting acts including Martin Kerr, Shaguar, and a surprise artist. The second day will feature acclaimed indie-rock group The Beaches, RadioActive, Dear Rogue and more. There will also be an interactive drum workshop and speeches before the evening performances. There will be two stages set up with a separate line-up on each, ensuring that the music keeps on throughout the day and visitors can choose which acts they want to see.

The event will also gather local vendors including food and beverage trucks and stands inside the Fiesta Zone, organized by Bent Stick Brewing and Chartier. Other vendors will offer unique gift items like jewellery or handcrafted wares. For visiting families there will be a children’s zone including a playground, spray park, and picnic tables. Festivals like this aim to attract a diverse group of music fans from nearby areas such as Leduc and Calgary, often using methods like poster printing and local radio appearances for promotion.

The 2024 Beaumont Music Festival will take place at Four Seasons Park on June 21 and 22.
