The event aims to help kids by their own presents for their parents, siblings and other family members, and learn about spending money along the way. Parents can drop off their children and sit in the nearby cafe while the young shoppers pick out an item from Magpies’ Gifts costing from $5 to $20. The shopping area will include “elves” to help the children pick out a gift, pay for it, and wrap it. Parents may also pay themselves at the end.

The 2025 Kids Only Secret Shopping Event will take place on the afternoon of November 22 at Leduc Coffee Shop. Participants will be limited to five at a time, with a queue for busy periods.
