City of Leduc works with Chamber of Commerce to market city and province

The city of Leduc’s recent announcement of its 2012 parade fleet in partnership with the Leduc Regional Chamber of Commerce should help market the city throughout the province. A thriving community, the business community of Leduc has steadily matured in recent years, and is now home to hundreds of business to whom local printers provide printing services.

Leduc’s parade float will be featured in conjunction with other larger events, namely the Black Gold Rodeo and the Alberta Fairy Congress. The largest community parade will be featured less than 4 weeks before Canada Day, although there will not be a parade on Canada Day itself.

The event is sponsored by the Regional Chamber of Commerce, supporting the business community in and around Leduc. The theme of the 2012 parade will be “Celebrating Rural Roots” and the Chamber is still accepting parade applications and is set to kick off in June. Other sponsors include Leduc County, Alberta Rodeos and the City of Leduc.

The Chamber of Commerce provides an abundance of resources to businesses and Print companies both big and small, who wish to make their home in the Leduc area. In addition to providing merchant benefits, a group insurance and utility service useful for businesses, the Chamber is committed to acting as a unified voice for business, lobbying all levels of government. The Chamber also offers workshops and special programs to help established and new businesses flourish in the Leduc area.
