Annual event showcases antique farm equipment

The 25th Leduc West Antique Annual Exposition is taking place in the city for two days this July.

Visitors will have the chance to view vehicles and pieces of machinery that were once the mainstay of many farms. Items on display will include vintage agricultural equipment, antique tractors, and old cars. There will also be demonstrations of plowing, threshing, rope making, and wood cutting. Other activities include a daily pancake breakfast, an antique parade, sheep dog demonstrations, and a Saturday supper. Food will also be available for purchase, including fresh cinnamon buns baked in a clay oven.

Children's activities are set to include a bouncy house, face painting, and a petting zoo. Musician Jerry Huck will also be performing a concert at the Hooper Building on the Saturday night, but a separate ticket is necessary.

For those who wish to enjoy the entire weekend, camping is available on the site for $10 per day.

This event will likely attract people from Leduc and the surrounding areas. Local Print companies sometimes help to spread the word by providing advertising materials such as Flyers.
