An Edmonton venue is set to host an activity that will connect the city’s disabled community with organizations that may be helpful to them.
Millwoods Town Centre will be the location for the 2025 IDPD Community Resource Fair, and the Voice of Albertans With Disabilities, which is an advocacy group, is hoping for a great turnout. The fair aims to make it easier for those with physical, mental or other challenges to participate fully in the daily life of their city, and it has a schedule that runs for several hours.
The organizers of the day are interested in hearing from not-for-profit groups and others that work with disabled persons, and they will be able to set up a booth or display. Tables will be provided at a cost, and the participants will need to supply their own tablecloth and décor, as well as Business Cards and items to distribute as swag if they wish. They are also asked to encourage their membership and patrons to come out.
Each company or group registered for the day will have their logo included in the fair’s marketing materials and the guides that will be handed out to the public.
The 2025 IDPD Community Resource Fair is set for December 3rd. It will be open to the public from 11:30 am until 4:00 pm, and exhibitors may arrive starting at 11:00 am.
