Edmonton enjoys Petals on the Patio

One of the joys of summer can be working with fresh cut flowers, and an Edmonton venue has partnered with a local florist to provide the “Petals on the Patio” experience.

Boxcar Coffee Shop has teamed up with The Social Florist to offer an in-person floral design workshop. It will be a relaxed affair, and everyone who takes part will be encouraged to flex their creative muscles.

The registrants for the evening will use the ceramic vase, greenery and fresh flowers to build their arrangement, and full instruction will be included as well. They will also be given a take home box to transport their creation home in, and fresh flower-care cards will be distributed. The tools for the task at hand will be provided, and anyone who would like to purchase coffee or another beverage or some treats to nibble one can do so. The gathering will run for one and half hours.

Working with flowers and other botanicals can be a relaxing activity, and taking part in a workshop can help get one’s feet wet. A flyer printing company can provide a variety of ways to help get the word out to the local area about an upcoming event.

The Social Florist will share her knowledge and skills during his fresh flower workshop, set for July 9th. It will kick off at 6:15 pm.
