The Edmonton Horticultural Society is hoping to hear from local gardeners who want to show off their skills to the world, and it is seeking submissions for its 2027 gardening calendar.
The theme for this year is “Art in the Garden”, and its members who are interested are encouraged to get creative. Memberships are available for anyone who would like to submit an entry.
The submissions will be judged by a panel of photography and gardening experts, and each winner will receive a gardening gift set as well as a free 2027 calendar and a feature in the calendar alongside full credit for their work. There will also be an opportunity for members off the public to vote on their favourite entry for the People’s Choice Award, and the winner of this will be given a special prize. The images should be high quality and in landscape orientation. They may be submitted in either JPEG or PNG format, and each contestant may enter up to three pictures.
