As the days get warmer, Edmonton golfers may be itching to get back out on the course, and they have been asked to save room in their summer schedule for a special fundraising tournament.
The Rotary Club facilitates a variety of community service projects, and it has scheduled its annual Hole-in-One golf tourney. All players are welcome to get into the swing of things. It will be held at the Highlands Golf Club, and there are four chances to win one of the big prizes that will be up for grabs.
Those who register will be treated to a day of fun, and lunch, the use of a cart, dinner, on course drinks and a chance to win one of the prizes are all included in the ticket price. The play will open with a shotgun start, and the players will have the chance to win a cash prize, a Volvo XC60, 2 Yamaha Wave Runners or a mountain bike and snowmobile package.
The listing prepared for the activity explained that it will be one of the group’s signature fundraisers. This year’s main charity of choice will be the Lurana Shelter. A poster printing company may prove to be a helpful partner in promoting an event.
This day of fun in the sun for Edmonton golfers is on the way for August 12th. Tax receipts will be issued.
