Womens health expo planned for Calgary

An expo dedicated to celebrating women-owned businesses and promoting health and wellness has been planned for Calgary this spring.

A day filled with information, fun and friendship is right around the corner, and it will be held in The Village Lifestyle Centre. At least 40 women-owned businesses will be represented, and the roster includes a large selection of healthcare companies and other related vendors.

The event will be focused on health and wellness for the whole body and mind, and it will approach the topic from a holistic view. Businesses that sell jewellery, art, toiletries, health items and new age products will be in attendance, and intuitive readers and many other entrepreneurs have also booked their space.

Anyone who would like to attend this celebration of Calgary’s women is encouraged to reserve their tickets now, and admission is by donation. Those who present their ticket at the door will receive a free gift for as long as supplies last, and food services will be available on site. Door prize draws for a variety of Corporate Gifts have also been planned and will add to the excitement of the occasion.

The date for the springtime Women’s Wellness Expo has been scheduled for May 8th, and it is set to run throughout the day. The function will kick off at 10:00am.
