Succulents are fleshy leaved plants noted for their ease of care, and they will be taking on a starring role in a workshop set for Calgary this fall.
Spruce it Up Garden Centre will be pairing succulents and pumpkins to create arrangements that can be fun pieces of holiday décor, and the materials needed will be provided. It can be enjoyed by novices and experienced floral designers alike, and the crafting session will run for one hour.
Everyone in the class will be able to design their own custom arrangement and a selection of succulents will be supplied so everyone can choose their favorites. The attendees will learn how to prepare their planting, including tips for looking after so it looks great for a long time to come. The moss and planting tools for the project will be provided, and the learners can enjoy the fun of meeting others who enjoy working with live plants.
A workshop provides the public with an opportunity to learn some new skills as part of a group, and organizers often choose to distribute learning materials to the attendees. Stationery printers can lend a hand, and will also be happy to provide a range of other printing services.
Spruce it Up Garden Centre Open Year Round, located at 159 210 Avenue Southwest in Calgary, will offer the in-person experience on October 17th at 10:00 am.
