Calgary promises a shucking good time

Calgary oyster fans will soon be rejoicing when they attend an event that will put shellfish front and centre.

Once each year. Rodney’s Oyster House hosts its Annual Oyster Festival, and it pulls out all the stops for the occasion. The charity of choice will be The Mustard Seed, and it promises to be a shucking good time.

General admission pass holders for the festival will each receive one drink and one food ticket, and there will be lots of options to choose from. These include freshly shucked oysters, calamari, clam chowder, mini fish and chips, cheeseburger sliders and vegan green curry. Additional food and drink tickets are $5.00. The function will be family friendly, and a live auction is on its agenda.

One of the activities that will be part of the fun will be an oyster shucking competition, and those interested can choose this ticket type when they register. These passes are priced at $75.00 each.

Special events may benefit from the services available at a local banner printing company. They can offer everything from custom signage and reusable roll up Banners to Logo Design services.
