Calgary families hoping for some high-energy excitement often head to Calaway Park, and the venue has announced that its Halloweekends will be returning for another year.
The venue provides access to a variety of rides, and its Halloweekends program will be both frightful and family friendly. It will be open on weekends up until Thanksgiving Monday, and for some additional fun, it will include two special events.
The park will be decorated with an assortment of themed decor, and on September 12th and 14th, its Boo Crew Costume Party will give kids a chance to show off their costumes. Parents or guardians are reminded that the costumes should be age appropriate for the activity and there will be prize draws and other festivities. It will kick off at 11:00 am and run until 5:00 pm.
Calaway Park will be wrapping up its 2026 schedule with its Thanksgiving weekend food drive. Everyone is asked to bring along a generous donation of non-perishable foods, and these will be collected and passed along to Calgary Community Kitchen. A banner printing company can create themed décor for events like this.
Calaway Park will open its Halloweekends schedule on September 5th, and it will end on October 12th. Details about the various activities that will be part of the festivities can be found on the park’s website.
