A Calgary workshop that will help its attendees provide their houseplants with some top-level care will be on offer in mid-July, and it will cover a variety of topics.
Bloom Culture will be offering an opportunity to discover how to make their houseplants thrive during the Houseplants 101 Workshop. It will be aimed at the beginner, and will teach practical skills. No experience is required.
The activity will introduce topics such as watering, light requirements and choosing the right plant for a particular location, and it will contain hands-on learning. Dealing with pests and diseases is also on the agenda, and the learners will be encouraged to ask any questions. Everyone will go home with a small plant to take care of. The session can accommodate up to eight attendees, and the registration fee is $74.09, which includes taxes and fees.
A workshop or other activity that teaches new skills may benefit from the services available at local Stationery printers. They can supply Copies of handouts and other educational materials.
Calgary residents who want to get the inside scoop on giving houseplants top-level care are welcome to be part of the Houseplants 101 Workshop on Wednesday, July 15th. It will begin at 6:00 pm and run for two hours at 3131 68 Street NW. Tickets can be purchased through its Eventbrite listing.
