Calgary wine fans who would like to expand both their palate and their knowledge of “the fruit of the vine” may enjoy an activity that’s been organized for a local venue.
The University District location of Market Wines will be welcoming Daniele Pelassa, who is a winemaker from Piedmont in Italy. He will be sharing his knowledge with the attendees, and only a limited number of tickets are available.
The gathering will see its guests sample a flight of six wines, and while they sip, they will take in a presentation by Daniele. He will share his passion for wine making as well as a history of the Piedmont region, and along with the vino, everyone will receive their own individual charcuterie spread to enjoy. To thank them for coming out, a 15 percent discount will be available to the ticket holders on any wine they purchase following the activity. Tickets, including fees and taxes, are $89.25 each.
Foodies may appreciate the chance to try something new, and a tasting event provides the chance to do so. Promotional Products such as corkscrews, tasting glasses, bottle openers and “wine glass charms” can be ordered from an area printing services company.
Market Wines-University District will be welcoming winemaker Daniele Pelassa on March 5th. It will begin at 6:30 pm and draw to a close at 8:30 pm.
