An event that will help to make sure everyone gets to join the fun on offer by the Acadia Community Association is in the works for Calgary, and it promises to be a sumptuous affair.
Dubbed the "Velvet Midway-A Winter Carnival Gala”, the gathering will be on offer at the Acadia Recreation Complex. It will be a walking-style affair, and there will be lots to see and do.
The guests at the function will be treated to a wide assortment of cocktail options, and while they sip and savour, they can take in the cirque style live performances. It's for adults only, and the colour scheme will be blue and white with a midway theme. The entertainment will be supplied by Cirque de la Nuit, along with their performances, the guest can try their hand at the games and mingle in the luxe lounge spaces, and the proceeds from the celebration will be used by the Acadia Community Association to ensure its programming is accessible to as many as possible.
A special event may call for décor that is just as unique, and a banner printing company will be happy to help. It can supply a full line of both single use and reusable styles, and there’s options that include a foldable stand.
The Acadia Community Association has organized its Velvet Midway celebration for February 7th. Its doors will open at 7:00 pm.
