Supertrain 2019 is taking place in Calgary for two days next month and is a presentation of the Calgary Model Railway Society.
The show has a lot to offer to model train enthusiasts of all levels, from beginners to experts. There will be a number of model train layouts on display, photography exhibits and garden railways. There will also be a display of the artworks of several railroad artists.
The Children's Play Area will feature plenty of activities for younger guests including Thomas the Tank Engine and LEGO play areas. Rides on a mini-Canadian Pacific train will also be available.
There will be several demonstrations by experts as well as educational clinics on topics such as scales and gauging, basic layout and control systems.
As in previous years, food trucks will be on hand to sell a variety of food and drink. Vendors will be on hand to sell merchandise related to model trains including design accessories and trains. Calgary poster printing companies often provide printed Posters to help advertise upcoming events such as this.
Supertrain 2019 will be held at the Genesis Centre from April 13 to 14 from 9am to 5pm each day. Tickets are $15 for adults and free for children aged 15 and under. For the most recent information, visit the official event website.
