The Calgary Folk Music Festival is back once again and celebrating 37 years of music.
As many as 70 musicians and singers from all over the world will be taking to one of nine stages that will be set up for the event. More than a hundred different concerts will be given, with some performances even taking place on the spur of the moment.
Along with the music, there will be a craft fair, food, a beer garden where people can enjoy a drink in the shade and also a record tent. Designed to be family friendly, the kids are welcome to come along with mom and dad and get in on the fun too.
The festival has been scheduled for July 21st to July24th at Prince Island Park. Four-day passes can be purchased for $195 for adults and $130 for youth, although these are not available at the gate. Single-day passes start at $60 for adults, with prices going up from there, depending on the day. They can be bought both online and at the event. A printing company can produce tickets and other printed materials for use during large events such as this.
More information about the Calgary Folk Music Festival, as well as a performance and activity schedule and an opportunity to purchase passes ahead of time, can be found on its website.
