Calgary to host planting workshop

While many people enjoy the beauty of houseplants, not everyone was born with a green thumb, but a Calgary workshop is set to provide information and guidance to help people get stuck into planting.

Plant’s Kyle Chow will soon be facilitating a workshop that will teach the basics of house plant selection and care, and everyone who takes part will be able to do some re-potting.

Chow will walk the participants through the process of potting their plant, and they will also receive tips for giving it the care it needs to grow and thrive. The soil and other materials needed to do the transplanting will be supplied, and the tools used will be sanitized before and afterwards.

One of the benefits of taking part in this class will be that each learner will receive a basic indoor plant guide to help them once they head for home. A company that prepares Letterheads and other documents will be able to supply these sorts of bound learning materials.

The registration fee for the workshop is $134.74, and $30.00 of this can be used towards the purchase of new pots or plants on site.

Plant will be hosting its “Green Your Thumb: House Plant Workshop” on November 7th, and it will start at 9:00am. The venue can be found at 1327 9th Avenue, and the host has explained that COVID-19 prevention protocols will be followed.
