Kokedama is the Japanese practice of growing plants without soil, and a Calgary venue will be providing its attendees with a Friday evening class that will help them get started.
Late April will see the workshop facilitator walk learners through the process of creating their kokedama. The moss, paint, and other materials will be provided, and it may be suitable for beginners and seasoned green thumbs alike.
The instructor will teach how to use the preserved moss to keep the root ball of their plant moist and healthy, and they can be hung, placed on a table, or displayed in other ways. The atmosphere for the activity will be calm and relaxed, and the session has enough seats for eight people to take part. Tickets are non-refundable and priced at $65 each.
Bloom Culture, which is the group organizing the planting class, also partners with organizations and businesses to host custom planned planting activities. A company hosting this sort of event can order a variety of personalized Stationery products such as care tip sheets, labels, visual materials, Signs, and other materials from local brochure printing companies.
This in-person introduction to the art and science of using kokedama techniques will welcome registrants at 6:30 pm on Friday, April 25. The location for the evening will be 1, 3131 68 St NW in Calgary.
