Calgary offered natural gardening workshop

It's been said that gardening is as much an art as it is a science, and Calgary will soon be treated to a chance to learn how to combine these to create some great looking beds and other plantings.

The Cliff Bungalow - Mission Community Association (CBMCA) has plans for a workshop that will be all about how nature-based techniques can lead to horticultural success. Chelsie Anderson, who is a local gardener and frequent contributor to “The Homestretch” will be sharing her knowledge, and there will be two different ticket options to choose from.

The talk will include information and tips that incorporate Integrated pest management and other natural Forms of fertilizing and pest control. Soil building will be discussed, and there will be lots of time for the attendees to ask questions and they will also be able to purchase a copy of Ms. Anderson’s gardening book to read at their leisure.

Offering the public a chance to attend this sort of function often encourages them to beautify their own property. A poster printing company can help with Posters to let the community know when and where an event will be held, and can often offer its products at a budget-friendly price.

The date for this horticultural workshop will be April 20th, and is scheduled to take place at 2201 Cliff Street Southwest. It will begin at 7:00 pm.
