Calgary marketplace to feature First Nations crafters

Those who would like to be able to give some unique gifts to their friends and family this holiday season may want to make sure they attend a local shopping party planned for next month.

The Authentically Indigenous Holiday Marketplace will give the public a wide selection of choices when it comes to gift buying in Calgary, and at least 40 First Nations makers will be participating. The crowd will be able to meet these crafters in person, and there will be lots of other fun on offer as well.

During this seasonal pop-up market, the public will find lots of handmade jewellery, beadwork, moccasins and other Apparel on offer. Special treats to serve over the festive season will also be available. Santa has made plans to stop by for some photos, and everyone can try their luck in the basket raffle. Both single-day and weekend passes are on offer for the event.

Pop-up markets are a common sight during the holidays in many communities. A banner printing company may be called on by their organizers to supply a wide selection of decor choices, as well as marketing materials for an occasion.

The Authentically Indigenous Holiday Marketplace will be taking place in the Kerby Centre Gym, and it will be open on both Saturday, December 10th and Sunday, December 11th.
