Champagne will be taking centre stage during many of this year's holiday celebrations, and a Calgary event will soon provide an introduction to “bubblies” from a variety of wineries.
The attendees in the Champagne and Cocktails Tasting Festival will be treated to sips of a variety of high-end sparkling wines. The event will run for two hours, for those age 18 and up.
Those who include the function in their plans will be sipping on an assortment of champagnes sourced from various regions. Everyone can mix and mingle with the other guests, and there will also be seasonal specialty cocktails poured. Springbank Cheese Company will be supplying the nibbles, and the pairings will be selected by the organizers. The function is being hosted by BKL Wine Merchants, and everyone who attends will need to make arrangements for their safe transportation home after the event.
