Bridal event to receive warm reception

At the upcoming 2nd annual Vivah Bridal Expo taking place at the Commonwealth Centre, there is plenty of incentive to arrive early, since the first 1,000 brides who attend will receive a tote bag filled with goodies.

The expo, which is sponsored by Vivah Bridal Magazine, is a celebration of East meets West wedding styles and traditions. There will be over 60 vendors selling and promoting services that are wedding related. These will include jewelry, wedding decorations, florists, menswear and womenswear, bridal boutiques, wedding planner services, catering services, wedding Invitations, beauty and hair salons, and wedding cake bakers.

There will be a limited number of each type of vendor allowed to participate in the expo. In addition, there will be entertainment and a fashion show. Information booths will also provide all the necessary details that brides and grooms need to know about getting married in Alberta.

Booth rental costs from $375 for a 5’ x 5’ booth up to $1,825 for a 30’ x 10’ premium or corner booth. Vendors can also pay an extra $200 to have the opportunity to place a promotional item or sample in the tote Bags that are handed out. Such items could include Pens with a company logo, Notepads, magnets, and even Business Cards. Calgary printing companies, especially those that offer Stationery printing, can help those vendors to design and provide suitable promotional items. Sponsorships are also available from $1,000 to $5,000.

The expo will be held on October 14 from 10:00 am - 5:00 pm. Tickets are $5 for adults and children are free. The event should help put the mind of those getting married at ease and get them started on the long road of wedding planning.
