A celebrated theatre in Perth is set to play host to a British comic in the new year.
Comedy fans from Midland and other suburbs of the city will soon get their chance to see a famous UK comedian when he performs a live set at Perth’s Theatre at Liberty Fringe. English actor and stand-up star, Ross Noble will be appearing on stage in February with a new show created for Australian audiences. Organisers of international comedy tours will sometimes use specialist poster printing services to make a range of advertisements of different sixes and formats to promote shows around the world.
Noble achieved mainstream popularity from making appearances on UK television, especially through interviews and on famous panel shows such as Have I Got News for You. In 2007, the comic was voted the 10th greatest stand-up comedian in a top 100 hosted by Channel 4 and took 11th place on the same list when it was revised in 2010.
Australian comedy fans will know him best for his work in 2005 when he joined Aussie comic Terri Psiakis to co-host the weekday lunch shift as “Ross and Terri” on the Triple J radio station.
Comedian Ross Noble will be on stage at Theatre at Liberty Fringe, which is located at 81 Barrack Street in Perth on Thursday, February 2.
