A hub for artists in Midland is hosting an educational experience focused on editing video footage using Adobe software this year.
Local creatives with an interest in the digital arts can enrol in these classes, which will be held in the Perth suburb this spring. They are part of a course called Capture and Create with Digital Media, which also offers modules on photography and videography.
Art centres presenting learning experiences often engage professional printing services to create prospectuses, Brochures and Booklets that explain subjects covered, costs and entry requirements.
Split into three parts, the module covers rough cutting, advanced techniques, refinement, colour grading, sound editing and how to publish work. Each session is two and half hours in length and includes a brief break. They are led by Steven Alyian, a renowned artist, creative director and musician who is based in Western Australia.
The module starts with effective file management and computer setup for smoother editing workflow and progresses to video editing. It involves using Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects and Adobe Media Encoder software.
The Video Editing module will now be taught at the Midland Junction Arts Centre on Saturday, November 7, 14 and 21.
