An arts centre sited in Midland is welcoming a travelling show this spring that specialises in spoken word storytelling and features a trio of tales.
Adults in the area who enjoy a good yarn will not want to miss an event headed for the suburb this year. Called “Tales of Togetherness”, the tour will be visiting Midland as one of five hand-picked performance locations in the Shire of Swan.
Performing arts troupes and groups often reach out to dependable poster printing services for attractive adverts that invite members of the community to attend their events.
The upcoming experience features the Swan Valley Storytellers, who will regale audiences with three orally delivered traditional stories that may include myths, legends, fairy tales and folklore. As some stories may contain adult themes, the show is not appropriate for children, so ticket holders must be aged 18 or older.
Tales of Togetherness will now be performed at Midland Junction Arts Centre on Sunday, October 25. The centre is based at 276 Great Eastern Highway in Midland, and the stories start at 4 pm and end at 7 pm. The price of general admission is $10, with concession tickets available for $6 per person.
Other stops on the tour of the region include Old Young's Distillery, Dayton Hub, Aveley Park and the Old Midland Court House. Each performance has a specific theme, and the arts centre show’s is “Space”.
