Arts buffs in Midland WA may be looking forward to the latest upcoming Open Day that’s just around the corner at the Midland Junction Arts Centre (MJAC).
The centre plans to reopen its doors to the public for its annual Open Day event, which is expected to showcase a varied mix of arts, community and culture.
The plan is for visitors to experience a creative hub, in which the centre's studios, galleries and retail space will host a variety of events. Additionally, the courtyard area is also expected to include demonstrations, drop-in workshops and live music performances. The Open Day aims to provide a chance for the community to learn and participate in events.
One of the highlights is expected to include a Ceramics Studio Demonstration, a weaving workshop and ecological crafting in a front-garden workshop. MJAC's Open Day is suitable for all ages and will be more accessible to everyone as there will be no cost to attend the majority of activities, thus allowing for larger visitor numbers.
Visitors can satisfy their interest and curiosity at the Arts Centre on Sunday, November 30, from 11.00am to 2.30pm. For such an annual event, to help spread the word, flyer and poster printing can be used by organisers of the event for effective publicity in the local area.
