Since the establishment of the Midland Railway Company in 1886 Midland, Western Australia has been associated with rail transport. The Government eventually purchased the Midland Railway Company a move that flagged major changes throughout the township including an increase in business interest, which in turn boosted demand for office stationery in Midland.
