New music festival headed to Midland

An event celebrating reggae, rhythm and blues (R&B) and hip hop will be the first of its kind in Midland.

A renowned hotel in Midland is poised to host the inaugural edition of the “We Vibin Fest Midland” next year. From clubs and cafes to bars and hotels, venues hosting shows featuring live music acts can sometimes use flyer printing services to create colourful advertisements for upcoming events to entice people to attend.

The evening event will be headlined by island, reggae and R&B star Justin Wellington, who is well-known for his hit track “Iko Iko” and renowned dance trend the “Iko Iko Challenge”. The artist will be on stage performing a selection of his classic hits like “Island Moon”, “Runaway” and “Much Love”.

Rising Australian star Lil Mase will also be performing R&B and hip-hop numbers from his catalogue of tracks, including “Sweeter Than Wine”, “Shine Like The Sunshine” and “What It Gone Be”, among others.

The rest of the line-up will feature DJ Chill Ease on his decks and local talents like P-Naka and Izzar. Many more acts are expected to be announced before the mini festival takes place.

The first ever “We Vibin Fest Midland 2022” event will be held on Friday, February 18 at the Grand Central Hotel at 36 Helena St, Midland, kicking off at 8 pm.
