Networking event comes to Midland

A breakfast event designed for business networking will be held in Midland in September.

Dubbed the “BNI Grapevine Networking Breakfast”, the upcoming event in Midland is designed to give enterprise professionals in the suburb and other areas nearby a chance to meet new contacts and build up their business.

From small business owners to entrepreneurs, those attending this type of event are advised by organisers to bring along a supply of Business Cards that they can distribute to any new contacts they meet.

Business Network International, otherwise known as BNI, is designed to provide a supportive and positive structured environment for business professionals to become acquainted. The networking breakfasts facilitate the exchange and development of high-quality business referrals, and businesspeople in all sectors are invited to attend and benefit from relationship-based marketing strategies.

The organisation is led by local business leaders, like its President, Madeleine Baxter of Thomas Gatter Lawyers, Vice President Grant Westlund of Sign Supermarket and the Treasurer, Jenny Moorman of Incito Wealth.

According to the business referral group, on average, members of BNI increase their business by 20 per cent after the first year. Attendees are invited to a join the meeting and stay for networking and referrals.

The BNI Grapevine Networking Breakfast event will take place at 74 Helena Street in Midland on Wednesday, September 21.
