An arts hub in Midland will host an event that combines a live concert with works of art next month.
A local venue will welcome a special event this spring. Titled “Community Chamber Collective – Chronology”, it encourages fans of the arts to explore its recent gallery exhibition called “Vessels” before enjoying an afternoon chamber music concert.
Art galleries sometimes work with professional brochure printing services to produce informative literature that supports the exhibitions they put on.
The day dedicated to art and music starts with an opportunity to take in the Vessels exhibit, which features fine ceramics created by 11 established artists. These include Sakshi Agarwal, Carmela Corvaia, Philip Noakes and Victoria Martinez Zurbano, among others.
Afterwards, the Community Chamber Collective (CCC) will perform a free concert that blends contemporary and classic chamber music. The first set of the concert will begin a 1 pm followed by an intermission with refreshments, and the second set starts at 1.55 pm. The concert finishes at 2.30 pm.
The CCC was founded in 2023 by violist Stephanie Hughes and conductor Shaun Fraser, with the aim of making chamber music accessible to the community.
The Community Chamber Collective – Chronology event will take place at the Midland Junction Arts Centre on Sunday, November 9. The centre is situated at 276 Great Eastern Highway in Midland.
