Midland area welcomes US punk

An American band playing pop punk are set to perform as headliners in Australia for the first time later this year with a concert in Perth.

Midland music lovers will soon be able to see US trio Waterparks when they play live at Perth’s Magnet House Night Club in October. The show is among the dates on the US punk band’s debut tour down under and is designed to introduce antipodean audiences to their latest songs. Australian tour organisers often employ dependable flyer printing services to create professional promotional materials advertising gigs across the country.

The band recently released their brand-new studio album entitled “Intellectual Property”, which has already proved a hit with fans and is their fifth release to date. While the Perth show will be the first of the tour, the band will be vising other state capitals throughout Australia, including Adelaide, Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne. The trio will be joined by Canadian artist Lights as support.

Those attending the upcoming gig will get a chance to hear a live rendition of the new single from Waterparks “Funeral Grey”, among other tracks.

Waterparks will now be on stage at the Magnet House Night Club on Tuesday, October 3. The club can be found located at 393 Murray Street in Perth; the show will begin at 7.30 pm.
