Midland area welcomes magic and music

An enchanting event coming Perth this winter will allow fans of the famed Harry Potter series to enjoy a unique big-screen experience.

Those living in Midland and other Perth suburbs who cherish the works of acclaimed author J.K. Rowling and her world-renowned creation Harry Potter will not want to miss an upcoming opportunity in the city. The Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre will host a two-day event dedicated to the sixth instalment in the acclaimed series of Books. Major event spaces often use professional banner printing services to create impressive large-scale advertisements for important occasions.

Entitled “Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince in Concert” and with performances held over two evenings, the event will allow audience members to experience the magic and music of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. The Warner Brothers film of the same name will be shown on a giant screen with high-definition resolution at the exhibition centre, with the screening accompanied by a live performance from the West Australian Symphony Orchestra.

The score for the film was composed by Nicholas Hooper and provides a perfect theme for a tale that combines adventure, suspense and humour.

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince in Concert will take place at the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre, located at 21 Mounts Bay Road in Perth, on Friday, August 12 and Saturday, August 13. Performances will start at 7.30 pm and end at 10.30 pm.
