Metalcore to blast out in Midland area

A successful metal band from America is set to play for Perth music fans in the new year.

Midland metalheads will soon have the opportunity to enjoy a performance by East Coast hard rockers, The Acacia Strain, who will be bringing their bone-crunching brand of metalcore to Perth in January.

The band will play a single-night show at the capital’s popular rock haunt, the Amplifier Bar, and introduce antipodean audiences to their latest material.

Tour organisers often reach out to professional Print shops for promotional materials when advertising acts they represent on overseas tours.

Since they emerged soon after the millennium, The Acacia Strain have gone from strength to strength in building a loyal fanbase, thanks to their albums that just keep getting heavier. Their unique style combines doom and death metal with hardcore, and this can be felt on numerous recordings including their first full length album, “Continent”, released in 2008.

This year saw the group release two studio albums “Step into the Light” and “Failure Will Follow”, and fans attending the Perth show will get a chance to hear live renditions of their hit tracks, such as “Flourishing” and “Fresh Bones”.

The Acacia Strain will now be on stage at the Amplifier Bar on Saturday, January 20. The venue is located at 393 Murray Street in Perth, and the show will kick off at 7pm.
